About Us - Northblinds

Lucas is our head honcho, although he’s far too modest to admit it! Having lived and worked locally since 2005, he brings years of window covering expertise and a strong focus on great customer service.

He takes real pride in the work we do and in growing North Blinds while keeping the friendly, personal approach our customers value.

Outside of work, Lucas is a devoted family man, so most of his spare time revolves around family life. When he does get a little time to himself, you’ll usually find him heading for the hills or fitting in a session at the gym.

Veronica is Lucas’s wife and partner in North Blinds. She looks after customer aftercare and helps promote the business both online and within the local community.

She takes great pride in helping North Blinds grow while keeping the friendly, personal approach at the heart of our family-run business.

Outside of work, Veronica enjoys spending time with family and friends and making the most of her free time.

Luke is a skilled window covering installer who takes real pride in his work. From straightforward fittings to more challenging installations, his practical approach, attention to detail and experience mean every job is completed with care.

A naturally creative and multi-skilled DIY enthusiast, Luke enjoys finding solutions and taking on new challenges.

Outside of work, he’s a devoted family man who loves family trips and, when he gets a little spare time, relaxing with the occasional online game.

A partner in the business, Chris lives in Skipton and is super hands-on with fitting, troubleshooting on tricky jobs because he’s a blind installation genius. He generally handles all the tech stuff. He’ll find the right solution for even the most difficult windows and doors. A keen swimmer he heads down in the early morning to the pool at Craven Leisure before heading out to see his first customer of the day.

Lucas’s brother but with a big personality of his own, Simon spends his time visiting customers armed with oodles of blinds and sample books to help them choose the perfect solution. He’s always happy to chat about football too, but we’ll leave it to you to find out who he supports.

Yarek is one of our highly skilled plantation shutter installers and is always ready to take on even the trickiest blind installations. With his attention to detail and pride in doing every job properly, you can be confident your window coverings are in safe hands.

Outside of work, Yarek enjoys spending time with his family and getting out on his mountain bike whenever he can. He also enjoys working on bikes, tackling DIY projects and learning new practical skills — anything that gives him a new challenge.

Michele’s role is to support our customers when contacting the office. Always with a smile and friendly approach, she is always happy to help. When she’s not at work, you might see her wandering around Skipton with her beloved dog, Eddie. She loves catching up with friends and family, enjoys a good night out, but also appreciates quiet evenings at home binge-watching her favorite series.

Justyna’s role is all about supporting our customers whenever they get in touch with the office. Always approachable and happy to help, she makes sure every customer receives a friendly, helpful and professional service.

Outside of work, Justyna enjoys spending time in the garden, taking the dog on long walks and planning her next trip around Europe.

Home life keeps her just as busy, with two teenagers making sure there’s never a dull moment!
